    Hi Mick and Jacquie,
I bought 5 lbs of fresh ginger to make a tincture but then discovered I did not bring enough 100 proof alcohol to make a tincture and cannot buy it here in PA.

We will be returning to Georgia in about a week, so I could save the ginger, and make a tincture when we return there.

Or what do you think about juicing it here now, freezing it and bringing it back down to Georgia and either keep it frozen to use in a tea or making the alcohol tincture down there?

But then if the grid goes down I would have to make a tincture then so maybe I am answering my own question!

    Any thoughts?

    Thanks!
    Ann Suhrie

Ps we cannot bring the juicer with us.

Narnia, my suggestion would be to juice the ginger now, freeze it, and take it to Georgia with you. Keep in mind that according to Buhner, the best way to used ginger medicinally is not as a tincture, but rather as an alcohol-stabilized fresh juice. So once you get to Georgia, thaw your ginger juice, measure it, and then add enough 95% alcohol to end up with a juice-alcohol mix that is 20% alcohol. So, for instance, if you have 8 cups of ginger juice, you would add 2 cups of 95% Everclear in order to get 10 total cups of liquid that is 20% alcohol. This blend will be shelf-stable and should be stored the way you store your tinctures, in a dark, not-too-warm place.

One of my kiddos had headaches and was referred to a neurologist at CT Children’s Med. Ctr, this was a couple of years ago. Anyways the APRN prescribed Migrelief (Akeso labs) https://www.akesohealthsciences.com/migrelief/

My kiddo took the treatment and the APRN told her she could wean off of it. It is a nutritional based supplement (read above). You have to be committed to take it for weeks and the APRN had my kiddo start slowly, taking 2 weeks to get to the target dose, as I guess the magnesium in it can cause tummy problems.

My kiddo no longer needs to take it! (TYG!) I purchased 10 bottles of this, wanting to have a stash of this for her since a daily dose was necessary to prevent the migraines she was getting.

They are sealed and not expired (2023, I believe). They are expensive (around 20$ a bottle). I’d like to donate them to a CORAC squirrel who needs this.

Littlelight, that is such a generous offer! Hopefully someone who needs this will check out the comments here so that they can connect with you. God bless you and your dear family. 🙂

Aww, no worries! I stocked up because you can’t just “stop” it you have to slowly wean down. And also, it helped!

I have zero heart for ebay selling AND I really want to help as best I can and would delight in seeing someone use this!

God’s blessings back at ya, Mick!

Thanks be to God for the blessings and graces, both offered and received LL!

Hello, today is day 8 of being sick. I am feeling such muscle weakness at this time and intestinal issues. It is quite alarming. I am wondering if I might have some of the unusual, less common symptoms of Covid. The hospital did blood work, urine test and ECG. All those looked fine so I must have something unusual. I don’t want to take ivermectin because some of the side effects can actually make my muscle symptoms worse. What do you all think? What should be my course of action?

Hi! I noticed some very strange symptoms after my mandatory flu shot at work. I was reassured several times it was indeed a flu shot and nothing else but…when I got home slept for over 20 hours straight (except for trips to the restroom). I also had severe body aches and various other coronavirus-like symptoms as well such as severe migraine that lasted nearly a week. I’m tested at minimum twice weekly at work and all have been negative so it’s definitely not becoming positive again…the employer’s medical director is extraordinarily pro-vaccine so I definitely have my concerns about the vaccine I received. I had the virus already in March-April 2020. One month later these symptoms are finally starting to go away slightly. I still get tired very easily and sleep around 12 hours a day. I’ve wondered since that time if I received a different vaccine instead of the flu shot, especially since a week before the flu shot I woke up in a panic at least three times thinking I’d gotten the COVID shot despite definitely not wanting it or requesting it. Any thoughts or recommendations?

    • Mick

Krissy, are you still having symptoms from your shot?

Not sure who I contacting here, but, here goes.
Have covid virus for 14 days now, Took Ivermectin 3mg tabx5 tab daily for 5 days starting on day 8 of illness. It got me through severe part. Have respiratory effects [spike protein microclotts] which knock pO2 into low 90s, have bronchial irritation which interferes with deep breaths. Slight fever daily of short duration.

So my question: Is there a herbal product that can address the inflammation/clots problem? Have systemic inflammation. I am not up to reading lots of material and my mind isn’t always clear, so any suggestion is appreciated. I do follow Steve’s front porch recommendations. 79y on my own, so no close support.

If possible, send reply to email. I’m in region 2. Judith Hunt
    Thank you

I have been treating long-term issues (non-Hodgkins Lymphoma and Lupus) with homeopathy. I went on Washington Homeopathic Works’ website the other day to order a couple of remedies and noticed that they have cut way back with what they offer. Then at the bottom of a newsletter that they sent, they posted that they are only going to offer 52 remedies but those 52 will be available in both the 30 and 200 strengths. In the newsletter, they said “the FDA has regulatory authority over the industry and applies pharmaceutical drug manufacturing standards to the manufacture of homeopathic medicine.” Washington then goes on to state that “this makes sourcing the starting materials and producing a wide variety of remedies and potencies a challenge”. Oddly, the remedies that you would think would be unavailable first like Belladonna and Arsenicum are available while others like Cantharis, Rumex, and Galphimia are no longer being offered. My question is, do we think that this is a way to eventually eliminate homeopathic remedies? I can and have ordered from Helios in the UK but I have also been watching the list of countries that they will not ship to (including now the entire continent of Africa) grow in the last 6 months or so. CORAC’s info on how to graft remedies in the 30 strength and up could very well be a life-saver.
