  5. Friday Challenges – January 2023

Week #3 (January 6) – (Storm week and Christmas) – What small changes do you need to make now if/when the feathers fly?

Week #4 (January 13)  – Physical Fitness-Our bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit? Does it look like we believe that statement?  Start slowly but start if you aren’t already doing something. Are you helping those around you get in better shape?

Week #5 (January 20) – No buy week. No using cash, credit card or check to buy either at a store or online.

Week #6 (January 27) – Pretend there will be an EMP(‘s) set to go off at noon Eastern Time affecting the entire nation. All electronics will be fried and will not come back for months/years. Think and report back to us what you are going tyo do. (This isn’t a completely farfetched scenario.) Area reps please pass on to your regions.

Super Challenge – Runs through the end of January. Get your inventories done. While doing your inventory, is there a shelf where you can grab something quickly-meal in a bag-to be able to minister to a family in need?

Super Duper Challenge – Continue the physical fitness challenge for the rest of the year.

About

Sustainability during a crisis is not always the doomsday picture that many imagine – such as societal collapse, every person for themselves, cities in ruin, lone survivors hiding out in the wilderness, and the zombie apocalypse.

We who serve on the Sustainable Living Teams are intent on helping other people develop the confidence and practical skills to not only survive during a serious crisis, but thrive under any challenging circumstances
