News That’s Buried

Keep up with dozens of stories that the media refuses to covermore >

If you’re not yet active in the fight for freedom… why not? Are you hoping things will go back to normal without your having to get involved? That is wishful thinking. The forces of evil are out in the open. We will either defeat them, or be enslaved by them. “Normal” is not coming back; it is gone for good. We must accept that, grieve it and move on. What’s ahead, when God achieves victory through us, is so much greater than the “normal” we used to have. But we have to fight for that future. In this newsletter, many actions are presented; take your pick. Just do something; you will need to be able to tell your grandchildren that you stood up and fought when the world was darkest. Don’t miss your chance!

Calling on the 300

By Charlie Johnston, founder of CORAC

I get asked from time to time about how people can sign up for CORAC and maintain their anonymity. For the most part, you can’t – and that is the way I want it.

Oh, we have more than a few “secret squirrels,” people who want to participate with us but, because of their position in the federal government or the Church, need to be discreet. The people who are officials or employees of the federal government are, in essence, behind the lines – and can sometimes offer critical information because of that. It is essential to maintain their cover or they could be ostracized or fired – and that information would be gone.

Inside the Church you will probably not be surprised to find that while some Bishops think I am a heck of a guy, there are also some who think I am a dangerous radical. Most Bishops are blissfully unaware of my existence at all. Maintaining confidentiality for allies who are in chanceries around the country can be useful to both them and to me – and it makes it harder for those who are hostile to know who to focus their fire on. Again, it can be a powerful conduit for useful information.

For a time I had connection to a very high-ranking official in the Vatican, itself, who I could get insight from. Alas, he is gone – but because of his orthodoxy, not because anyone figured out there was any connection.

There are a few other such situations, but not very many. The reality is that authoritarians in the West are trying to cover us like a shroud. But they have not secured their power. This is not Nazi Germany or Stalinist Russia just yet. A key error ordinary people have often made when a malignantly evil force is trying to take over a country is to keep their heads low. That does not make most people any safer for more than a little while – and that comes at the cost of making it far more deadly dangerous for everyone just a little later on. While the issue is not settled, the thing most likely to keep tyrants from cementing their hold on power is for people to stand publicly against them. To do so right now just means you may face ostracism or harassment. Stormy weather.

To be brutally blunt, I don’t want people joining us who want to keep it a secret without a truly compelling reason. If you fill your ranks with the bold and the brave, when things get rough enough, some of them will slink away. That always makes a stand much tougher at a critical moment. But if you fill your ranks with people you know are going to abandon the cause as soon as the going gets tough, you sow the seeds of your own pitiful destruction.

I don’t think we are going to get to a situation where we have to behave like the French underground. If we do, we will adapt. But I do not want a situation where the organization could be toppled by just a few government or media bullies yelling, “Boo!” That just is not tactically sound.

There is another even more compelling reason for me. I have long said that this is a great battle between good and evil – and that I believe God intends we stand up and publicly declare ourselves. You can’t stand up and be counted in unless you actually stand up and publicly declare yourself. Our strength comes from standing with God and with each other. If all you have to offer is secret sympathy, you facilitate takeover by the anti-God left. If that’s your gig, just join the establishment wing of the Republican Party.

When God called Gideon to overthrow the Midianite oppression, at first, Gideon was very timid – and agreed to work with God so long as God would keep his name out of it. Those terms were NOT acceptable to God. Only when Gideon agreed, trembling and shaking though he was, to stand boldly, would God put His might behind the man. Once Gideon stood boldly, God steadily winnowed down the force he would fight with, until it stood at 300. Gideon was all-in by this time – and with that force of 300 men routed around 400,000 Midianite soldiers. Sometimes, when He finds someone willing, it pleases God to show off a little, to let men know in whose hand the battle really lies.

Now is the time, and God is, once more, winnowing the battlefield forces. Won’t you help the Almighty show off a little?

America Prays

Many “America Prays” groups are meeting on Wednesday evenings all over the country, gathering in front of city halls and county courthouses. Check for America Prays groups that may have already begun in your area here: https://public-rosary.orgIf there’s not one near you, grab a friend and get on down to your local public space to pray the Rosary for our country, and especially for the children.

A Million Small Victories

Unjustly-held political prisoner, retired Special Forces Master Sergeant Jeremy Brown has asked people to do these small things every day, and win through a million small victories. These are tasks that literally anyone, regardless of health status, can do.

  1. Talk to 3 strangers, 1 friend and 1 family member every day. Talk to them about what is going on in the country and have a good article or link queued up that is easy to share.
  2. Make 1 phone call, email or letter each day to an elected officials If only 1% of Patriots did this, it would be more than they have ever received.
  3. Hand out flyers in parking lots or public places.
  4. Have house or block parties to build alliances.
  5. Wave flags at busy intersections.
  6. Donate what you can to the legal defense funds of the J6’ers.

Keeping in touch when channels are unreliable

Each broadcast will start out with an introduction, the reading of a chosen Scripture, sharing CORAC news of interest, then opening the net for anyone who desires to check-in. To check-in, you have to have an HF radio with transmission capabilities, and a general amateur radio license. All unlicensed members are invited to listen-only to the CORAC net using a shortwave radio. If you can hear the transmission, please post your comments in the CORAC Communications Forum.

  • 1st Broadcast 7:30 PM Eastern, 6:30 PM Central, 5:30 PM Mountain, and 4:30 PM Pacific. Frequency: 7.284 MHz
  • 2nd Broadcast 8:00 PM Eastern, 7:00 PM Central, 6:00 PM Mountain, and 5:00 PM Pacific. Frequency: 3.980 MHz

Local Clubs
Google your local amateur radio club to get involved at the local level. Nearly every community has one. I searched “Tyler TX amateur radio club” and found The Groundwire! They put out a newsletter, have monthly hands-on practice sessions and a monthly breakfast cleverly named “Ham and Eggs.” Google your area and see what you find.

Getting Certified
Many CORAC’ers have used this site to prepare for the licensing exams: They make it pretty easy if you set aside the time to follow their plan.

Amateur Radio Relay League Field Day
ARRL Field Day is the single most popular on-the-air event for radio operators in the US and Canada. On the fourth weekend of June, (June 25, 2022) thousands of radio amateurs gather with their clubs, groups or simply with friends to operate from remote locations. Field Day is a picnic, campout, practice for emergencies, informal contest and, most of all, fun! All are welcome to participate, watch and learn about this hobby.

Many groups use the field day as an opportunity to practice their emergency response capabilities. It is an excellent opportunity to demonstrate to the organizations that amateur radio might serve in an emergency, as well as the general public.

Despite the development of very complex, modern communications systems — or maybe because they ARE so complex — ham radio has been called into action again and again to provide communications in crises when it really matters.

Contact your local radio club and make plans to take part, or at least observe, the activities on June 25.

The National Communications team has been working for a year on a reliable network for CORAC communications. There have been all sorts of bugs to work out, but it will be there when we need it. You can play your part by practicing your radio skills on Sunday nights from 7:30 to 9:30.

7:30 Eastern Frequency: 14.277 MHz with an alternative frequency of 14.285 MHz (if 14.277 MHz is busy)

8:00 Eastern Frequency: 7.284.1 MHz

Visit the Communications forum  for great tutorials and info on shortwave listening, programming your radio, and amateur radio certification.

Health & Wellness

Staying robust in trying times

The behavior of the medical profession in the last two years and the possible supply shortages of conventional drugs have caused people to begin rethinking health care. Even those who prefer modern allopathic medicine recognize that it might not by fully available to us for a time. So the Health & Wellness team has been gathering experienced practitioners in some of the alternative modes, and training members in those modes.

D is for Despondency
We all became familiar with the importance of Vitamin D during the covid scare. Patients with Vitamin D deficiency were 14 times more likely to have a severe or critical outcome to infection, so Vitamin D became a front-line prevention strategy.

Now it is found that Vitamin D3 can stabilize mood and prevent depression. There is speculation that vitamin D deficiency may directly affect the balance of dopamine and norepinephrine receptors, which can lead to symptoms of depression. Learn more >

Food Supplies
Please do have some emergency food supplies on hand for your family. Between the fertilizer shortages, the systematic destruction of food processing plants, and the enormous bottleneck created by China at the Shanghai Harbor, we are not going to come through this year with anything like the food supply we are used to. It’s the perfect storm.

Below is a food prep list that appeared in our Region 8 newsletter last year. Many recommendations now say to have 2-3 weeks of non-perishable food on hand. You can start with a 3-day supply, then add to it every time you grocery shop. This is a basic starting list, featuring foods you can easily find at the store.

Sheryl’s Three-Day Food Pack

  • Instant oatmeal
  • Dried fruit
  • Bags of dried veggies: kale chips, green beans, okra
  • Granola/fiber bars
  • Packs of nuts, especially almonds and walnuts. Can be added to any dish for extra fat and fiber
  • Peanut butter (one of the most calorie-dense foods per ounce; best bang for your buck)
  • Pouches of tuna fish
  • Beef or turkey jerky
  • Small bottle of olive oil (great for pouring on the dried veggies)
  • Dark chocolate bar (keep in Ziploc bag because it melts easily)
  • Salt and pepper
  • Cinnamon
  • Jar of diced garlic (adds savor and is a great anti-inflammatory)
  • Jar of Vegemite or Marmite (has tons of B vitamins which reduce stress; available online or at World Market)
  • Chewing gum (to get the taste of the Vegemite out of your mouth!)
  • Instant coffee (with powdered cream and sugar, if desired)
  • Multivitamin

You can also order pre-packed dried food pouches from an emergency supply store. It’s more expensive, but freeze-dried food lasts practically forever. These most likely will be hard to order, once the grocery store shows signs of scarcity.

Regenerative Farming Could Save The World
We are at a critical point in world food production. In March, the global food price index hit its highest-ever recorded point. While many of us can tolerate the higher prices in the short term, the vulnerable are going to suffer. A great many of the factors contributing to the food crisis are manufactured, and have been years in the making. It’s time to think outside the box. In this article by Joseph Mercola, some alternative farming methods are discussed and useful links shared.

Interstate Insights

CORAC Region 15 member Patrick observes the USA from one coast to another on a weekly basis as a professional truck driver.

As was reported in a prior newsletter, Patrick is seeing the trucking market shrink and slow. His dispatcher said today that all he was seeing on the board of available routes were those paying around $1/mile. A typical rate months ago was $2.50 or higher, up to $5/mile for a good load. Now it’s one dollar? In addition to the poor rates, there just aren’t that many loads available.

Patrick spoke to a woman whose daughter had been fired as an Amazon local delivery driver for a minor infraction, as though they were just looking for an excuse. Then Amazon closed the hub where the daughter was based. Like Facebook and Netflix, with their declining subscribers, Amazon has only ever gotten bigger, not smaller. I checked their stock price and it has declined by approximately 10% in the last month. Will that prove to be a longer term trend?

Consumer confidence hit a new low in March 2022, according to the University of Michigan Consumer Sentiment Index. The numbers showed the most pessimism about future personal finances since the index began in the 1940s. The key drivers are the decline of real income due to inflation rotting away the dollar’s spending power, and the rising cost of fuel. Gas prices just recorded the largest monthly increase in decades. No wonder people are curtailing non-essential spending. Then there are the myriads of supply issues, most of which are suspected to be intentionally manufactured.

Interstates are the blood vessels of the economy; truckers are the red blood cells, carrying oxygen. Less blood in the vessels means a crisis event not very far in the future.

Random stuff I just felt like sharing

The People’s Convoy Loves Life

The Convoy is in Sacramento, California presently, having participated in a large rally at the Capitol on Tuesday, April 19. The target was a decalogue of extremely repressive and un- Constitutional laws, several of which have since been withdrawn. As the Convoy was leaving the Capitol after the Freedom Rally, they heard that the Assembly Health committee was voting on AB 2223, a law which would allow a newborn to be legally killed within an unspecified period of time after birth. They turned around and drove back to the Capitol, blocking the street in front of the mall in protest.

Despite the obviously widespread protest against the infanticide bill, the Health committee passed it and it now resides with the Appropriations committee. It still has a long way to go before becoming law, but the California legislature is proving that the people in that state do not have a voice in Sacramento. Lawmakers are provoking an alarming situation. Even in California, will the public peacefully go along with infanticide?

I think the lawmakers are overestimating the purple-haired, multi-pierced shrill ones in the cities, and vastly underestimating the ordinary families in the rest of the state. They do not recognize that there actually is a limit, and they are crossing it.

The infanticide bill was not originally on the Convoy radar, as their stated mission was to eliminate covid mandates, but they proved themselves by responding in passionate protest against that bill. The Convoy is small, but ready to be used. Stay tuned… news is posted periodically on their website, though it may be a few days behind.

Nightmare on the Border

Texas ranchers near the southern border are seeing massive destruction, trash and debris, and even dead bodies left behind as hundreds of thousands of illegal migrants pass over their property. There is no help from enforcement agents as the border areas are completely overrun. The Federal government continues to stonewall, but there is a crisis coming on this front, especially if Biden goes ahead with his plan to remove Title 42 on May 23, a measure that allows border officials to turn back illegal migrants.

The Real Father Stu

The movie about convert and priest Stuart Long has ignited a good discussion among Christians lately. The movie has garnered both good and bad reviews, which makes it particularly interesting. Go and see what has stimulated the conversation; just be aware that the profanity level is extremely high and it most definitely is not suitable for children.

There is general agreement that the real Father Stu was a more interesting character than the movie was able to portray.

Find more about him:

Sound of Freedom

“It’s funny, because we all read history and we think, ‘Oh, I would … have risen up, I would have fought, I would have been an abolitionist,’ And I tell them, ‘No, you wouldn’t have. If you would have, you’d be doing that right now. You know trafficking exists, you’ve heard of it, but you don’t want to look.”

— Tim Ballard, Operation Underground Railroad

This movie about child kidnapping and trafficking, features Jim Caviezel, and has been completed since April 2020. No one is saying why it hasn’t been released yet, but you can guess. A huge undercurrent of the other evils in our culture is child trafficking. Heck, we just watched a pedo-friendly judge be confirmed to the Supreme Court. We regularly watch a demented president, sniffing and petting children with a hungry look on his face. Disney is whining for the right to teach deviant sexual relationships to children younger than 9.

The bizarre fixation with children goes up to the highest levels, and there must be unimaginable money that makes the machine run. It touches upon Ukraine, the southern border, the Hunter Biden laptop, and I’d bet my bottom dollar it will pop out somewhere in the Durham proceedings, too. This is a massive driver of evil in the world. The last thing the power elites want right now is for ordinary people to get emotionally worked up enough to stand up and protect children at all costs.

Think a movie can’t do that? The publication of “Uncle Tom’s Cabin” started the Civil War by making the public understand what slavery actually looked like. When we see the horror of child trafficking, the nation will be inflamed.

Watch the trailer >

Child Trafficking

I get it; no one wants to read about child trafficking. We have a duty to look at it, but it burns the deepest part of our hearts. One imagines that looking too closely might deliver a blow our psyches couldn’t recover from. When I pray for the children at night, I have to keep it brief so that I can actually sleep. Meanwhile, the children are locked in the horror without respite.

One way to educate yourself about this most hideous subject in a way that you can tolerate is through fiction. A storyteller, especially a Christian one, can inject hope, and show us how we may defeat this diabolical worldwide activity. Charles Martin manages to show how trafficking occurs, why Florida is a hotspot, who is at risk, how Christ saves in the worst circumstances.

J6 Letter to Americans

It does not take a majority to prevail, but rather an irate, tireless minority, keen on setting brushfires of freedom in the minds of men.

Samuel Adams

My name is Jeremy Brown. I am a 20-year retired U.S. Army Special Forces Combat Veteran. On January 5th and 6th, 2021 I was in our Nation’s capital as part of an all-volunteer protective detail tasked with providing security for organizers and speakers at a legally permitted political rally.

As I sit here in my jail cell being denied justice and my Constitutionally-protected, God-given rights, I wonder, is anyone irate or tireless enough to save our Republic? Will our children and our children’s children wonder what it was like to be free?

If you’re reading this, are you irate? Tireless? Are you willing to risk it all to set brushfires of Liberty in the souls of men? Or will we just wait for some other ‘good men’ to come along and do that ‘something?’ The time to look in the mirror and answer that question is NOW! Trust me, the time to fight is NOT after the tyrant locks you in a jail cell.

My name is Jeremy Brown and I am a January 6th Political Prisoner being held in the very country I spent my entire adult life defending at the highest level I could achieve. As a Green Beret, I am trained and prepared for this, and as an American, I was born for this. I will fight until my dying breath before I surrender one letter of my Liberty. I am only one man, but if I’m the only man, so be it! I know there are millions like me and so I ask you, are you ready to light brushfires of Liberty in the souls of men? Then don’t do nothing!”

Jeremy Brown, U.S. Army Special Forces Master Sergeant (Ret.)

Ships Held Off Shanghai

Hundreds of cargo ships are being prevented from unloading at Shanghai. The antipandemic (what pandemic?) restrictions imposed in China have caused a massive bottleneck of shipping in the Port of Shanghai, which handles four times the traffic of the port of Los Angeles in America.

Shanghai Blocks Merchant Ships From Unloading >

The schematic shows the container ships waiting offshore Shanghai. A standard container is 20 feet long, 8 feet wide and 8 feet tall, holding 1,360 cubic feet of goods.

The largest container ships can carry 20,000 containers. That is approximately the amount of goods that would fill the Empire State Building solidly from the ground to the 75th floor. The diagram shows around 450 container ships, which cannot load or unload. It is an inconceivable amount of goods, and many are perishable.

Our brilliant government, by imposing useless sanctions against Russia, is creating a major crisis. Russia and Belarus are suppliers to the world of fertilizer, and Western nations cannot make up the shortfall. There will be consequences. Actions of the Human Person

We are unions of body/spirit, not spirits residing temporarily in a body. That heresy leads to such bizarre notions as a “boy soul” inhabiting a “girl body.” That is simply not possible; every human person is their body.

So it follows that any solution that is all spiritual and not at all physical is incomplete. Jesus recommends prayer and fasting, prayer and almsgiving. Prayer must be married to an action, because human beings are body-persons, not mere spirits.

The cure for emotional or spiritual malaise is prayer and action. Psychologists have long taught this, and I have rediscovered it over and over again since 2020. When we dwell on our situation without taking action, depression is knocking on the door. Action dispels depression. Any action will do. If it’s not the right action, you soon find out, and you adjust and do something else, watching again for any adjustments that need to be made. Taking action calms and focuses you.

Take action, any action you think may be helpful in even the smallest way. Once you’ve started, all sorts of new ideas will come to you. There is a certain magic about action. We were made for it.

Cure For What Ails: The Chosen

When there is almost nothing left to watch that doesn’t offend Catholic sensibilities, try The Chosen. Everything about it is different: it’s funded by the public, not big studios; it’s distributed along its own distribution channels; it has its own app; it’s free to watch, donations optional; it’s the first multi-episode portrayal of the life of Christ. Season 3 has now been fully fan-funded and production will begin shortly in Texas. Currently, over 400 million people around the world have viewed the series.

Every episode (8 in the first season, 8 in the second) is a gem. The writers have a Scriptural consultant group of a rabbi, priest and minister (no, that’s not the opening of a joke) who keep the stories within the Biblical bounds, but allow for great character development. For instance, the former tax collector Matthew is written to be a tic-ridden, obsessively literal Aspergers sort of savant, who has proven to be an audience favorite. Simon Peter is a smart-alecky, muscular character who’s been in trouble with the Roman law and who tends to pick fights… and is endearing anyway, which is quite a feat of writing. Jesus, played brilliantly by New York born Catholic actor, Jonathon Roumie, is the star of every scene, just as he should be. Roumie brings mirth to the role; we have the delight of seeing Jesus tease the apostles, share in the exuberance of healed people, mirror the excitement of the fishermen with a draught of fish too big to haul onto their boat. It’s Jesus being entirely human, and what a joy that is.

For anyone suffering the blues in our current world, watching The Chosen is an elixir that will pick you up and set you back on the path.

For Charlie, his health, family, work, safe travel, blessed meetings and connections, and for all his personal intentions

  • For the continual outpouring of Holy Spirit’s Fire of Desire into every human heart, and that people respond to God’s Love and call on their lives
  • Complete recovery for CORAC members, families and friends who are suffering with covid or any illness and strengthening with fortitude those undergoing any sort of difficult trial
  • Protection for all CORAC members as they continue to employ their gifts, talents and charisms, willing to respond to the needs of those around them as we make our stand with God via hearts dedicated to ongoing prayer and action projects that overcome evil by doing good
  • For ongoing contributions to CORAC to support the organization
  • For peace… in our hearts, our families, our Churches, our countries and our whole world
  • That fear be banished, in the Name of Jesus, as we choose to live what Charlie has exhorted: “…become accustomed to thinking that all is lost while doing the best we can and trusting God to come through – in His time and in His way, seeking actively to find what we have missed.”

I may never know it in this life, but I shall be told it in the next. I am a link in a chain, a bond of connection between persons. He has not created me for naught. I shall do good.

I shall do His work. I shall be an angel of peace, a preacher of truth in my own place, while not intending it, if I do but keep His commandments. Therefore, I will trust Him, whatever, wherever I am. I can never be thrown away. If I am in sickness, my sickness may serve Him; in perplexity, my perplexity may serve Him. If I am in sorrow, my sorrow may serve Him. He does nothing in vain. He knows what He is about. He may take away my friends. He may throw me among strangers. He may make me feel desolate, make my spirits sink, hide my future from me. Still, He knows what He is about.

— Saint John Henry Newman
