It’s a reminder that things are going on under the surface all the time, and to not lose hope when things seem static. Back in early 2025, after Trump was inaugurated, I used to wake up in the morning and find another dozen things Trump & Co had done overnight to save the country. That was the low-hanging fruit, but the lifesaving activism continues on more complex and delicate reforms. The release of the diaries and the sudden refocus on the worldwide covid debacle proves it.

Consider, for a moment, how far we have fallen from that shining moment when we founded the United States of America. If you never have, please make the time to read Alexis de Tocqueville’s masterly, Democracy in America. It is the best examination ever of who we were and what philosophical bedrock our principles were grounded in. First, consider the concept of a right. A right is something that no legitimate government can deprive you of, which is granted to you by nature and nature’s God (the natural law). It can only be something you can do or aspire to yourself. We have bowdlerized the very concept of a “right” by declaring things that others are forced to do for you as a right – health care, food, and other benefits provided by the state. But the state can give you nothing it does not first take from someone else. As Milton Friedman said, “There is no free lunch. Someone always pays.”

Giving government the power to coerce others on your behalf also gives it power to coerce you on their behalf. The truth is, its coercion is always on its own behalf, to expand its power and reach. For the government and the bureaucrats who man it believe they are gods, the only gods. This belief is not founded on their altruism or their objective wisdom, but simply on their raw appetite for dominance over their fellows. Oh, they style it as compassion, perhaps even deceiving themselves at times, but whenever faced with a choice between compassion or more power, they find a way to justify their appetite for dominance.

AI is a useful tool that will allow many tasks to be completed more quickly and efficiently. The downside is that mediocre thinkers believe it will allow them to credibly masquerade as geniuses. We will get collectively dumber in the process. Just as computers had to deal with the garbage in, garbage out principle, so does AI. Yet I see many online citing whatever their favored AI system told them as definitive proof on a disputed matter. Perhaps even you think it is dispositive.

Try this: ask three different AI systems the same question, identically worded, and compare the three different answers you get, some of them contradictory. Shoot, ask the AI system you choose the same question today as you asked it last week – and see how often you get a different and contradictory answer. AI is just a tool for tasks. Like a hammer, it can be used to build a house or whop you in the head. The person wielding it decides its purpose. With AI, all the “Google intellectuals” just have a new toy to play with, without getting a lick smarter or nobler.

Inside our Church and churches, we see leaders wrestling with doctrine. I’m not talking about fine points that are genuinely subject to debate, but clear foundational principles. Too many of our religious leaders occupy themselves arguing that Christ and the Apostles did not really mean what they clearly said. That is just pernicious nonsense. If you want to try to start a new religion based on new principles, have at it; make your case. But lazy revolutionary theologians and Churchmen would rather seize what already is, in hopes of hijacking its audience instead of having to build fresh with the pernicious nonsense that is the only thing they have to peddle.

When you look at lawfare and the use of the justice system as a tool of raw political power, how can you not see the tale of Esther writ in modern terms? And there are so very many modern Hamans! I get lost in these sorts of meditations at times, wondering if there is anything but futility in it all. Certainly, if there is any such thing as progress in human affairs, it is of the five steps forward followed by four steps backward sort. In all of human history, the amount of time and space that genuine human freedom has occupied is comparable to a postage stamp on a football field. Yet many who have the good fortune to occupy that postage stamp busy themselves trying to subjugate those around them.

Then I look at my children and grandchildren. I look at the people genuinely fired with new hope at genuine altruism and leadership. I think that there is no end to strife in this world, but it must play out intimately in each of us. In choosing whether to fight on the side of angels or scheme with the guile of devils, we are choosing between God and the satan. There is infinite – even eternal – value in that. Ultimately, it may be the only value, to strive on behalf of those we love – and to struggle to love more. It is the very thing that leads us to God and the good. So I get up, sometimes wearily, and fight again each day, knowing that nothing is lost in God’s economy, however much is lost in man’s. And I know that all is not vanity, that there is real meaning in life, that many around me and even generations unborn will benefit from the good that I choose, while generations yet unborn would suffer from the evil I would add to if I succumbed to mere appetites of dominance.

And so, if I am on the side of the better angels, may God keep me there. If I am not, may He put me there. This strife will never end until the world does. But God gives us a choice of which side we stand with. It is that choice that forges our eternal fate.

Bret and his wife Heather have been putting out a highly intelligent podcast since covid early days. Both are scientists who have found themselves “off the reservation” since the plandemic. They’ve done a great episode on Fauci and his princess diaries, Everyday Treason.

Guess what’s back on the bestseller list this week? Robert F. Kennedy’s 2021 exposé of the man/weasel who’s gotten all the headlines this week: Tony “Princess Diaries” Fauci. It’s the Number One bestselling non-fiction on Amazon this week. It had already hit all the big lists back when it was first published in 2021, and now it’s enjoying a reprise. All 480 pages of it.

In Kennedy’s decades-long work with Children’s Health Defense, he’d encountered the pernicious influence of Fauci long before the plandemic. Fauci has sabotaged and betrayed the public through many years and many epidemics.

And if you’re in the mood for puzzling out how in the HECK the covid scam worked on so many people, try this book from John Leake, Mind Viruses: America’s Irrational Obsessions. It’s recommended by our old friend, Dr. Peter McCullough, who says: “Mind Viruses reveals how the American republic has been divided by a contagion of irrational ideas and fervently held false beliefs.”

If you thought covid was over… don’t forget that it was an operation that affected the whole planet. Whoever was behind it came very close to what all the Bond supervillains had in mind… control of the world. It nearly happened. We lived it. It’s not a fever dream we can just wake up from, and forget about.

Many of us CORAC’ers were given to understand from the beginning that there was something deeply suspicious going on, but the operation reached billions of less wary people. Millions died, billions got the jab, and none of us have fully recovered from the destruction. And we won’t… not until the truth comes out.

This past week was BIG. The unveiling has begun.

I’m still not sure if we ever got to the bottom of what was causing the cyclosporiasis outbreak. We were told first one thing, then another. The CDC, maybe or maybe not trustworthy, states on its website that the parasite was traced to iceberg lettuce grown in Mexico and sold by Taylor Farms. All the suspicious lettuce has been recalled. Taco Bell is open for business and Taylor Farms bagged salads are back in the produce section.

I’m taking the whole thing as a caution to avoid overly convenient dinner solutions. I’ll be constructing my own salads going forward, and cooking as much as I can.

Meanwhile… eggs. Salmonella has long been present in factory eggs, which is why recipes rarely call for uncooked eggs (as in Caesar salad dressing). There have lately been cases of salmonella poisoning from eggs cooked sunny side up. Scrambled is ok, hard-hard boiled is ok, but you’re taking your chances with runny yolks.

In the most momentous week since Trump’s inauguration, I’ve heard people complaining, “Nothing will happen. No one will be arrested. Nothing ever happens.” That’s called black-pilling, when you basically give up, when no amount of progress on a project will satisfy you. The hard truth is, the shifting of public opinion is a long affair, but this week, the diaries have catapulted us ahead.

I mean, did anyone honestly predict that Tony kept a diary, on government time, on government servers?

On August 23, 2024, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. joined Candidate Trump onstage at a rally in Glendale, Arizona. Trump promised him an alliance on health and nutrition issues that Kennedy had long been working on. Since sworn in as Secretary of Health and Human Services in 2025, RFK has gotten the covid vaxx off the childhood schedule, reformed the “food pyramid,” removed poisonous food dyes, reformed the vaccine injury program, and so many other things. Now he has recovered Fauci’s diaries and delivered them to Sen. Rand Paul for public scrutiny.

I am convinced that there is a detailed plan, a timetable, with one amazing occurrence leading systematically to the next. The Trump/Kennedy alliance on August 23, 2024 led to Fauci’s exposure on July 27, 2026. There’s more to come, you can make a Polymarket bet on it.

We’re all aware of the media’s subterfuge and misrepresentation, but sometimes we need a reminder. I visit a home where the tv is always on network news. Last week, I heard one of the mainstreamers report that Democrats were way ahead in the midterm polls. What?? Their National Committee is so flat broke, they had to take out a loan using the headquarters for collateral. Their darling of shutdowns, masks and shots, which enabled the 2020 mail-in ballot fiasco, just got humiliated in front of the world. Trump has gone ahead with the plan to the use the US Post Office to track ballots, which will cut the use of fraudulent mail-ins, should the Dems try to stage another crisis. Millions of illegal voters have been deported, or self-deported. Virtually no one is falling for the health panics (so far) despite vaccines in the pipeline to fix us all up.

I’m not seeing any signs that Democrats can win the midterms, but the media casting that notion tells me there is a plan, once again, to rig the outcomes. If they can get enough people to expect it, fewer will question it.

American military history has long been an interest of mine, but I ignorantly thought that the Revolutionary War was a bit ho-hum compared to the Civil War or the twentieth-century wars. Ha! Nothing could be farther from the truth. The Revolutionary period is riveting, mostly because it is rather easy to place ourselves right into the context: a global tyrannical enterprise with no respect for the people on the ground must be defeated against all odds. The war is finally won by farmers, hunters, shopkeepers, farm wives… the 18th century “basket of deplorables.”

We were never supposed to win that war. The British Army and Navy were experienced, well-provisioned veterans and the colonials were just patching it together as they went along. People like George Washington and John Adams were Godsends, unique personalities that fit the needs of the time perfectly.

There were black-pillers then, too, people who said it could never be done, and who took refuge with the British army. They preferred not to take risks and to put all their trust in Big Tyranny. It was a bad bet.

I saw shadows of that difference in the hundreds of videos posted by Brits visiting America for the first time last month, during the World Cup. Many of them said outright, “There is a sense of possibility in American people. They see something that’s needed and they produce it. They see something broken and they fix it. We don’t have that attitude in the UK.”

Americans inherited the can-do, independent spirit of our founders, and 250 years later, we’re going to need it.

It’s like a dystopian movie warning us about our future… except it’s real. Over the weekend, tens of thousands of young Muslim men invaded Ceuta, Spain, completely overwhelming the border patrol with sheer numbers. The hordes of military-age men stormed the shores, ran screaming through streets, overturning trash, looting stores, and in general, reveling in their triumph over law and order. The men are not accompanied by families and are not carrying luggage. Who planned and financed this? And what will they finance next?
