The psy-ops, false flags and deceptive media have scored a success of sorts: they have turned people away from the Trump administration, even as daily wins are being toted up. I’ve watched Catholic journalists turn on Trump during the hot-takes phase, before the real news had even settled out. Then, when proved wrong, they never circled back to admit their mistake.

If the goal of the globalists is to turn people against what is basically an American rescue operation, they have at least partially succeeded. Whether or not you personally like the man, it’s worth remembering where we stood two years ago. Would you want to go back to 70 genders, rampaging invasion at the border, defunding law enforcement in the face of skyrocketing crime, and drag queens fêted in the White House? Team Trump is helping us save what good remains in the American culture.

Opinions expressed in this newsletter, unless otherwise attributed, are my own.

Your Responsibility to God Cannot be Abrogated

It was the summer of 1963. I was seven years old, just out of first grade. There was a story on the news about a man who had killed a couple of people because the voices he heard told him to. It bothered me a lot. That was the first time I became consciously aware that most people who heard voices and saw people that others could not see were crazy – and dangerous. Oh, did it weigh on my young mind! Usually my angel just came without fanfare. But this time I prayed intently that he come. He did on a sunny morning in the side yard to the north of our little house.

I had long known that the purpose for all this stuff was supposedly that God had work for me eventually, work that would require a lifetime of training. Truth be told, at that time, the training was a lot of fun. The hard stuff would come soon enough, but for then it was just fun. That story that weighed so heavy on my mind made me wonder if all the fun was just a mask over what would turn out to be evil later…that maybe that was the hard stuff my angel had prepped me for.

I had steeled myself. When he came, I told him that I enjoyed the training a lot…and that I was happy to continue keeping our secret. But I told him also that if he ever told me to do anything to harm anyone, I would immediately have my Mom take me to a doctor, to whom I would confess everything. I would not hurt anyone and that would be the end of it. I told him a few more things that had been weighing on me, too. I expected him to be mad at me for telling him what I would and would not do – for, in essence, setting a limit to his authority over me.

To my surprise, he was absolutely delighted. Only one time since then have I seen him so cheery and excited. He clapped his hands and said that attitude was exactly why God had singled me out for the work ahead. He was so enthused I kind of thought he might take me out for ice cream, but he didn’t. And so we continued as friends as well as teacher and pupil.

In the years and decades ahead, as it got brutally hard and challenging, my angel frequently emphasized that I was responsible for everything I said and did, regardless of who I thought told me. There came a time I felt uncomfortable with that, as I was getting credit for good things I was told when the credit rightly belonged to God. He breezily explained to me that that was not a problem because all good things come from God, so anyone who was serious about their faith would know that all good fruit comes from the good God. The problem, he continued, is all the people who blame God for the mean and cruel things they do. There will be a stiff price for that.

Lindsay Clancy, the Massachusetts woman who murdered her three young children, and has sparked a huge contingent of vicious people treating her as a hero, claimed that a voice told her to do it. Why did she not recoil in horror from that voice? Instead, she meticulously planned the murders, sent her husband out on enough errands that she would have sufficient time to execute her plans, and then spent at least 20 minutes (probably more like 45) strangling each one of those babies to death, one by one. She was 32 years old when she did this.

Seventy years ago it was common, if a criminal was caught doing something particularly heinous, to claim that the devil made him do it. Now, in our much more enlightened age, we claim mental illness made us do ugly things and, so, absolve ourselves of responsibility. There are genuine cases of mental illness leading to tragic ends, but this wasn’t it. Someone who is truly deranged cannot meticulously plan and execute a dastardly scheme. Some in our therapeutic culture will excuse anything, so no one is responsible for anything, no matter how heinous, so long as the perpetrator is not a Trump supporter.

I am inclined to think that demonic entities DID prompt Clancy to these vicious murders. The spirits of Jezebel and Molech are loose in the land, along with a host of other demons seeking to seduce the weak and the foolish. “Be sober, be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.” (1 Peter 5:8) That does not relieve her of a bit of responsibility, both before man and before God.

A demon, can, indeed, deceive you for a time. They are more clever at it than most anyone knows. But they can’t get in and force an affirmative act of the will without the active collaboration and assent of the person involved.

Each of us will be held to personal account at judgment for everything we say or do. God may accept the plea that someone trusted and prominent advised you in partial mitigation, but He will not relieve you of your responsibility. You cannot farm out your conscience to anyone else. God gave each of us free will and moral agency – and He will hold us to it.

Do not fall for formulaic guarantees of discernment. Some say that they can always tell when something comes from God because it is always peaceful. Right, try peddling that to Jonah, Jeremiah, or a host of other authentic prophets who so often wrestled with God. It is true that God may give you uneasiness and doubts if you choose a bad course, but are you so shallow that you do not know the devil will do the same to discourage you from a good course? There is no easy, guaranteed formula for discernment. As Philippians 2:12 directs us, we must each work out our salvation in fear and trembling.

People who do wicked things that some interior voice commanded them to have always both baffled and infuriated me. To know that, at seven years old, I had a more reliable moral compass and sense of discernment than so many adults have depresses me. But it does sadly explain why my angel was so excited about what, at the time, seemed to me to be an act of rebellion.

It mildly irritates me that there is a segment people who regard what I say with significantly less skepticism than I do, myself. It flummoxes me that so many people follow faithfully every voice out there that claims to have a message from God, even when the voices are wildly contradictory – and counter to Scripture.

I tell you this solemnly and it is something trustworthy: you will be held to account for everything you say or do, down to the smallest jot or tittle. The good news is that God is very quickly forgiving of honest mistakes made in the course of a serious effort to do the most right thing you can think of, provided that you fully acknowledge and repent of the mistake as soon as you know of it. Maintaining a strategic silence in hopes that those around you will not notice or quickly forget the mistake will trigger the Master’s ire. The bad news is that the Lord’s wrath can be very quickly kindled by efforts to shift responsibility or cover your rear end. He is NEVER deceived by dissembling. You were created in God’s image and, so, were given moral agency. Use it. You will be held to account for how you exercise stewardship over this treasure.

CORAC VIRTUAL RETREAT

Our September Virtual Retreat is a chance to step away from the noise, listen for God, reconnect with one another, and regain some clarity about the road ahead. Because CORAC doesn’t need more noise. We need to know where God is calling us—and then have the courage to go toward it. Mark your calendar for Sunday, September 20 at 4:00 pm Central.

GO FORTH FIELD NOTES

CORAC has long maintained a General Discussion Signal thread that any member can join. Because we are a large organization, the discussion has sometimes gotten cumbersome. Now a new channel has been set up, specifically to post reports and questions concerning Go Forth efforts. CORAC Go Forth. The previous channel is still open and operating under the name CORAC Water Cooler.

If you’re not familiar with the whole Go Forth initiative, you can read more here and here. Basically, Go Forth is any action we take to help rebuild the City of God together. It’s the most CORAC thing we do.

To join the Go Forth Signal thread, load Signal on your phone and register. Then search for CORAC Go Forth.
Or follow the JOIN US link on the page linked above.

This subject is ripe for discussion. What things that we’re already doing can be expanded? What projects can be undertaken by members who aren’t physically mobile? What “weak spots” in the community can be addressed effectively by a group of motivated squirrels?

PHYSICAL HEALING PRAYER SESSION

The next CORAC physical healing session will be Wednesday, September 30 at 7:00 pm Central.

NEWS

Trustworthy Sources

Although I’m one of Jeff Childers’ biggest fans, I’m always looking for other independent journalists to add to the stable of trustworthy reporting. If you are still reading/listening to mainstream news because you think you’ll miss something essential, I most highly recomment finding alternative sources. Classic media has proven itself foul.

Jeff Childers at Coffee & Covid is my chosen daily dose of news, but you may need something more up-to the-minute than his reporting, which he deliberately slows down in order not to be taken in by the immediate “hot takes” of a situation. For more current news, I check X or Telegram channels such as Jack Posobiec, Gateway Pundit, We The Media, Expose The Agenda, Benny Johnson, Dan Bongino, Sassafras84. None are perfect, but you learn who is most reliable over time.

For anything breaking, like an earthquake or sudden political events, I go to X and tap the search icon, then tap “Trending”. A lot of the time, what’s trending is foolishness, but if anything big is going on, it will show up. Right now, on September 11, it turns up Patriot Day, World Trade Center, Twin Towers and #NeverForget. If what you’re looking for isn’t in the Trending list, type it into the Search field.

I have found that anything big shows up on X about half an hour before it shows up on classic media. One would hope that is because corporate media is checking sources before they report something. A lot of garbage shows up on X, too, so be discerning.

Promethean Action is one of the sources I’m watching regularly. They’re sober and do excellent research. Their tagline: “a political movement dedicated to defying oligarchy & unleashing the fire of human creativity.”

The Dark Horse podcast is another source I respect. It’s weekly, so it’s not an up-to-the-minute resource, but Bret Weinstein and Heather Heying are true scientists who dependably do their homework. Bret was one of the earliest exposers of the covid “vaccine” skullduggery when he hosted Dr. Robert Malone and Steve Kirsch in June 2021.

More recently, Bret interviewed Leslie Manookian on the subject of medical freedom. The conversation turned into a fascinating overview of homeopathy and the pathways by which it might work. Here’s the YouTube link. You can also listen on Spotify, Apple and Google podcasts.

Victor Davis Hanson is an American treasure. He has authored hundreds of articles on military history and contemporary culture. He’s sober and terrifically thoughtful. You can keep up with him at the Hoover Institution and on his his podcast.

Another resource worth watching is the Brownstone Institute, formed in response to the global trauma of covid lockdowns and vaxx mandates. Their mission is to figure out what happened and why, and seek reforms and alternative paths. They feature some great authors, including Jeffrey Tucker and Joel Salatin, the lunatic farmer.

I give thanks for the day I lost all trust in legacy media, and went searching for the independent voices.

Where Were You?

On September 11, 2001, where were you? Do you remember hearing the news? I was in my classroom, preparing to teach a religion class. The assistant headmaster rushed in and said, “We’re under attack.” I went down to my car to tune in the radio for confirmation. The assistant head was a former airline pilot, so I believed him, but I needed to hear it from multiple sources. We decided to go ahead with the next period of classes and wait to tell the children until parents could be involved.

Twenty-five years later, conspiracy theories abound. One hard fact is that then-Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld had announced the day before that $2.3 trillion in Pentagon transactions could not be accounted for.

Needless to say, that shocking statement was soon forgotten, as the world reeled the next day.

mNRA Vaccines

During the covid era, the pharmaceutical companies announced that they would follow the mRNA pathway
forward and begin shifting all vaccines to that platform. Be aware that mRNA vaccines have not been successfully tested on humans. More evidence comes out every day, but you will not see it on corporate media since pharmaceutical ads basically keep the news stations running. You can turn on any news show and count the ads that aren’t pharma on one hand. (Most of the non-pharma ads are food, the types of which will eventually drive you to Big Pharma.)

The first step in moving the vaccine cash cow to the mRNA platform is the flu “vaccine.” Moderna gained FDA approval for its mFlusiva shot for adults over 50 last month, after being initially declined.

A good analysis of that possibly shady approval is here >

Meanwhile, Nicolas Hulscher has published specifics showing that the vaccine causes more adverse effects than prevention of illness. Hulscher is an epidemiologist and administrator of the McCullough Foundation.

The Counter Revolution

Victor Davis Hanson’s new book The Counter Revolution: The Rise and Fall of Donald Trump and the MAGA Movement was just released this week. Mine just arrived by pre-order, and I dove in immediately. I do not consider Hanson a partisan; he’s neither a Never-Trumper nor a Trump-At- All-Costs. I trust his scholarship and intellectual process.

We are all fishies swimming in a soiled fishbowl. I don’t think we are able to easily see our own era in perspective. We get caught up in the latest thing, and the big picture is thereby obscured. Hanson does a good job with the 50,000-foot view, perhaps a preview of what history will record in a few more decades.

You can get it on Amazon as a hardcover print book, Kindle ebook or Audible.

September Prayer Intentions

  • That CORAC members ~ while staying informed on crucial local, state, national, and international issues ~ operate from a prayerful Go Forth mindset: “Dear Lord, show me what I can do to help, and help me to do it.”
  • That infused with the Holy Spirit, we do the hard work of reconciliation with Truth in our families and
communities as malicious powers seek to divide and destroy those whom God has created and called to serve Him in building His Kingdom.
  • That the Lord may heal many through the online Physical Healing Prayer Session (usually the last Wednesday of each month) and through online or downloadable prayer offerings on the CORAC website
  • For the intercession of Saint Joan of Arc, on whose Feast Day, May 30, 2026, Charlie had a mystical experience marking that date as “one of the most important days in modern salvation history. It is the day when all of the forces of heaven were perfectly arrayed and deployed to help the faithful carry out noble, Godly plans.” ~ A Sign of Hope, July 30, 2026
  • That we continue to say “AMEN” to Charlie’s prayer: “[T]hat, for everyone, whatever they do for or earnestly wish for another, it return to them twofold. For those of good heart, it is a blessing. For those of scheming hearts, it is a curse.” ~ A Sign of Hope, April 24, 2025

Brazen Serpent Rosary

In 2023, the CORAC National Prayer Teams Committee (NPTC) created a special Scriptural Rosary to supplement The Brazen Serpent Prayer, written by Charlie Johnston, which is often prayed by members of the Corps of Renewal and Charity (CORAC). Our Scriptural Rosary leads us to pray for our own well-being and for that of others, especially those who have experienced adverse reactions to COVID shots.

The National Prayer Team also created a video version that people can pray along with according to their own schedules.
