I have not had power since Saturday. High winds knocked power out throughout big patches of the Denver area. I had a lot of work I wanted to finish over the weekend that had to be put on hold. I have a piece, What Is Truth?, that I will have to wait for tomorrow to publish.
Today, from Noon to 3 p.m. I spend on the grounds of St. Malo at the foot of Mt. Meeker in contemplation and prayer. I write this little notice from a Starbucks.
If you have a question for our series on preparation, please get it into seven7questions@gmail.com. We will do our final podcast on the subject in the next 10 days.
I am in the home stretch on the CORAC Organizational Handbook and Manual for Building Functional Communities in Difficult Times. It is pretty much down to formatting and edits for concision. Again, the booklet will be freely available in PDF from the CORAC website and will be available for sale in the hard copy. If you have not donated lately, it would be very timely to do so now, as I intend to give a wide distribution of complimentary copies to various compatible organizations and news sites.
Now, I’m off to Mt. Meeker. See you tomorrow (provided the power is back on by then).
If communication goes out for any length of time, meet outside your local Church at 9 a.m. on Saturday mornings. Tell friends at Church now in case you can’t then. CORAC teams will be out looking for people to gather in and work with.
