THIS WILL BE A WORKING DAY, WITH MANY DEMOS AND LIVE INSTRUCTION. Prepare for a full day, outside. The theme is preparedness, so you will be practicing self-sufficiency by bringing your own chair, refillable water bottle, snacks and layered clothing.
We respectfully request that you not bring children under the age of 12. It’s going to be a long day, and there are hazards for children on the property. Children over age 12 register at the same price as adults.
Registration includes lunch, but anyone with dietary concerns should consider brown-bagging. All attendees are invited to bring snack foods (muffins, chips, fruit, etc) to share on a Snack Table.
Location is a family farm in Lindale, TX. Specific address and further details will be sent to registrants after October 22. We will be mostly on unpaved ground, so be prepared if you have mobility issues.
There are many mid-price hotels located in Lindale, including Best Western, Hampton Inn, La Quinta, Holiday Inn, Comfort Suites and Motel 6. More hotels are located in Tyler, about 12 miles away. If you stay over until Sunday, you can attend Mass at the Tyler Cathedral (6:30 am, 8:00 am and 10:00), Veritatis Splendor Chapel (Ordinariate 8:30 am and TLM 10:30) or St. Joseph the Worker in Tyler (FSSP 7:00, 9:00 and 11:00 am) on Sunday morning. You are free to drive around Veritatis Splendor on Sunday after Mass.
Event goes on, rain or shine. All talks and demos will be outside, under tents.
Mass will be celebrated onsite first thing in the morning.
Tickets are non-refundable. A detailed schedule, map and other details will be sent to registrant’s email address after October 23.
