  5. A Gut Punch to Mandatory Compliance

Here at CORAC we are focused on the prayer of doing. As St. Teresa of Avila says, we are God’s hands and feet on earth. To make that work we make collaborative action with those around us to effect change and prepare for difficult times our top priority.

Our strongest success story to this point has been from the Health and Wellness Committee. Hundreds of people have taken the free homeopathic medicine classes we offer – and more have been helped by homeopathic methods. Shoot, I am one of them. I have not taken the classes, but I was helped by homeopathy during my convalescence from Covid and then, afterwards, to shake a persistent throat infection.
Our Sustainability Committee has offered videos and training sessions for home and frontier skills; our Communications Committee has established a national network of ham radio connections to protect our ability to keep in contact with each other in case of emergency; and our Prayer Committee is grounding everything we do in prayer and devotion to God Almighty.

All across the land, citizen initiatives are rising to take the place of the federal government (which flails all the more maliciously the more ineffective it gets.) There have been job sites rising for those who will not take the Covid shots, online market places for those who will not participate in cancel culture and, of course, the rise in the last year of a host of new social media sites which are independent of sites and platforms of the censorious establishment.

One of my favorite new initiatives is the Make Americans Free Again organization. While it does many things, similar to what we do here at CORAC, the initiative I most love is that it is suing governmental entities that have issued heavy restrictions and mandates. It is not, however, suing on Constitutional grounds, but on what justifications those entities used to declare this a crisis in the first place. That, I think, is perfect.
We should have a national conversation about what the Constitutional limits and constraints on emergency powers are – and the Supreme Court cases are a beginning to that. From a very practical standpoint, though, we should be looking hard at what constitutes an emergency, who decides, and what criteria are to be used in making that determination. I have long maintained that, except for the first few weeks when we did not know much about this novel virus, this has never risen to the level of an emergency. Even so, petty government bureaucrats and local officials jumped on the chance to boss the citizens they are supposed to serve like a hawk on a rabbit in an open field. It is time to make them justify themselves. If they can’t, they should be turned out of office and indicted for crimes against humanity. The beauty of this approach is that it opens the door for extensive discovery, if governmental entities choose to fight the suits. That means that all the criteria and the communications they used to come to the “emergency” conclusion is revealed to the public. Even the pharmaceutical companies, which were governmentally declared immune from civil liability for any problems with their gene therapy shots, are NOT immune from claims of fraud and malfeasance if it turns out they knew of significant problems and systematically tried to hide them while still pushing these therapies.

I have little patience for those on our side who argue that there is no such thing as Covid. (There is: I can attest to it from personal experience). But I have no patience at all for those in authority who used a genuine, but moderate, health challenge to enhance their power and let hundreds of thousands of people die because they loaded the most vulnerable into nursing homes and denied people genuine life-saving therapies.
The Make Americans Free Again organization was founded by a woman named Pam Popper. She holds a weekly ZOOM meeting on Thursdays, where people can get involved and stay up to date. You can lay the foundation to sue your local city council or village board, your local county health department, and even your local school authorities. You can contact her to get access to the ZOOM meetings at pampopper@msn.com. I strongly encourage you to do so. We can take our country back and make Americans free again.
