We are definitely going to use some ideas here and start building vertical gardens.

For years we lived in a first floor unit and had a patio pepper garden and each year we made our own brand of hot sauce. Then we used an entire side yard for a crop garden on our new homes landscape and have gotten quite creative with that section too. Every year since we carved it out, in some fashion or another it is brand new.

We loved bringing this imagined multilayered gravity defying potted herb garden to reality!

About

Sustainability during a crisis is not always the doomsday picture that many imagine – such as societal collapse, every person for themselves, cities in ruin, lone survivors hiding out in the wilderness, and the zombie apocalypse.

We who serve on the Sustainable Living Teams are intent on helping other people develop the confidence and practical skills to not only survive during a serious crisis, but thrive under any challenging circumstances
