Tick Season Begins!

Ordinary Wisdom

[Jessica ] I’ve been bitten by a tick on my scalp, and it’s not technically tick season in my mind at this point, so I haven’t switch on that part of my brain ….. let’s pretend this tick carries and Lyme and the other major deer tick style illnesses (babesia etc etc etc) ….. what am I supposed to take homeopathically again?

[Talitha] Ledum 200c 2D.

[Jessica] No borrelia prophylacticly or anything?

[Talitha] This is a more aggressive approach. A good baseline for any bite (puncture wound) is Ledum 200c e3H for the first day and then 2D for at least a week, then twice a week for a month and then once a week for a month to prevent lymes. Ledum is the one I have always heard to use even as a prophylatic.

[Mick] Borrelia can be used prophylactically to try to keep from getting bitten in the first place; but once a person has been bitten, Ledum is usually the go-to.
