Shawnee, Kansas – As I have been saying for months now, the power of darkness has been broken. You might wonder, if that is so, why is there so much strife and fury sounding across the land? Simple: when sunlight bursts upon a coven of vampires there is a lot of shrieking, wailing, and gnashing of teeth before they are no more. The sounds you hear and the strife you see is the experience of watching the old order fall away like the walls of Jericho. We will not lose any fight we engage in on the side of God, from here on out – if we engage with courage and resolve.
Though demonic forces are now impotent in battle, they still have a very powerful psychological weapon in their arsenal. Like a vulnerable animal that puffs itself up to look bigger in order to intimidate a foe, the devils are masters at making you think you can’t win – so that you won’t engage in battle at all. Though that is the only battle-related power they have now, it is a powerful one that will neuter many, allowing the demons to take battles by default.
I believe that this suits God for now. He intends that the faithful should grow in trust, paying more than pious lip service to it. The whole world has entered into a training period – training on how to be the people of God once again. He has shown us how deep the rot in our cultures, societies, and religious hierarchies run. Already the old order has fallen away. We are now engaged in cleaning up the rubble, even as the acolytes of the old order wail and scream, trying to regain what they have lost. Even if they managed to frighten us away from the task before us, they cannot prevail. What they have lost is lost for good.
The rules have already changed. For several generations, evil men have advanced themselves in a world gone evil by cheating, lying, betrayal, lust, and double-dealing. The satan was given his century to destroy the faith of the world. Though he did much damage, he has not succeeded – and his time is up. For now, the most dangerous power he has is terror. That power was foreshadowed in the 9-11 attacks in America, but now comes to its fullness. He is trying to intimidate us out of engaging in the struggle. But, again, God has recalibrated the rules. Now, the way to get ahead is to do the most right thing you can, simply because it is the right thing to do. Be honorable in all that you do, with kindness (and sometimes pity) for all you engage with.
Many will not. Those who do will discover that God is with them – to the extent that they are with God. You must learn to have no fear of the empty show the devil mounts against you. Prudence is truly a virtue. But for generations it has been twisted into a rank parody to excuse cowardice. It is, even now, being exposed for the rank parody it has become. How do you know the difference between genuine prudence and rank cowardice? Most people do not. The best demand holy boldness from others while defending their own cowardice as prudence. But God has commenced classes, so you can re-learn the instincts and lessons He intends for you. Do the most right thing you can think of, acting both with restraint and with holy boldness. God will reward you for it, that you may be encouraged to go forward. Act forever with timidity before the affrights the devil pesters you with and God will leave you barren, until you learn to act boldly. Those of genuine bad will must either convert or perish. Ah, but there are so many who remain from the century the devil was given! Do not fear them: pity them, but do not cede a single inch to them. The vampires who have fed on the people of faith for so long are screeching as the sunlight bursts forth upon them. As terrible as their situation is, the Lord is merciful. They can choose to become children, not just creations, of God once more. Sadly, few will. But we do not know which few they will be. So evangelize all, while not submitting to the depredations of any anymore. God is teaching us trust anew. That is the first lesson we must learn before we can seriously begin the lesson on discernment.
Do not be afraid. Do not put your confidence in yourself, but learn to have absolute confidence in Him. And He will use you to cast the mountains of depravity and disorder in front of us into the sea.

For almost 40 years I have been an advocate of free trade with what I called “mirroring” – that our markets will be as free to any nation as theirs are to ours. It is NOT free trade to leave our markets wide open to nations who mount huge barriers to protect their own. I liken it to playing in a fixed poker game: you can’t win by just playing harder. You must make the rules apply to all and enforce them – or quit the game. We have been playing in a fixed poker game all my life.
In the early years of my life, we justified it because we were helping much of the world recover from the devastation of World War II. That’s fine. But long after that was over (almost certainly by the beginning of the Kennedy administration) other nations throughout the world kept leeching off us, mounting huge trade barriers against us while taking advantage of our relatively open rules.
Finally, Donald Trump has done what I have advocated for most of my life. He calls it reciprocal tariffs rather than mirrored trade. No matter. What matters is that the fixed poker gamer is over – and, oh, how the fixers are squealing! It does not impress me that the very people who have been wrong about economics, foreign policy and almost everything else about our society for a good 50 years are lecturing us what a mistake we are making by no longer doing what they tell us. They are the broken acolytes of a rotten system, trying to protect the system they know. It’s over for them. Ignore their panicked rants.
For a very long time, all the aggressively atheistic left has known about how to hold the economy together has involved gimmicks. They have held it together with paper clips and rubber bands while building it of spun sugar. It cannot hold.
There will be some disruption for while, just as there is when you reboot your computer. But Trump is determined to end the smoke and mirrors approach Democrats so love and replace it with something solid, fruit that will last.
For me, when Trump announced this policy on “Liberation Day,” I did not panic. Rather, I felt the first, distant hope that, if pursued with vigor and resolve, this can be the first step to preventing the catastrophic global economic collapse that all the gimmicks had made inevitable. It’s just the first step but, boy, it is a good one! Trump seems to understand that the only thing that has real, enduring, value is what we produce and create – the goods and services of our own hands and minds. If he is truly embarked on a great crusade to make our economic policy reflect that reality, we have got a real shot at avoiding disaster. Of course, the faux intellectual fraudsters and midwits will be swept away as their gimmicks and games are reduced to confederate currency. But they brought that on themselves. Choose or perish.

Registration for our CORAC National Conference, to be held July 11, 12, and 13th in Atchison, Kansas, is now live at the CORAC website. I hope to see a whole bunch of you there. I will talk more about it later this week. I toured much of Atchison and our venue site last Saturday.

At the end of this tour, I am going to finally retire my old Subaru. With 350,000 miles on a four-cylinder engine, old Bessie has truly gone above and beyond in her service. I appeal now to CORAC members: if you have a reliable, old car that you would sell at a reasonable price, I want to hear from you at charliecar339@gmail.com. I don’t care if it has over a hundred thousand miles or is over a decade old. I’m a plain fellow, consumed with the mission – and making sure our donors’ money is spent to advance that mission. I would prefer it have at least a six-cylinder engine and it must be well maintained. I would look to make the switch in May or June sometime. So if you have something you would like to sell and it has been well-maintained, help me put old Bessie out to pasture. She’s earned her retirement.

I have been very sluggish about putting up articles for a while. That is largely because I have been re-organizing everything and establishing a new rhythm. I am convinced this is a pivotal year, a year upon which the rest of our pilgrim journey to the Triumph of the Immaculate Heart will turn. I will not be so bold as to say the re-organization is complete, but it is complete enough to establish a consistent rhythm again. We have a lot of opportunities we can take now – and a lot of showy dangers to surmount. I intend to take advantage of all of them to advance the mission of CORAC, which is the re-evangelization of the world through living ordinary things with extraordinary faith, honor, and boldness. Let the work re-double!

If communication goes out for any length of time, meet outside your local Church at 9 a.m. on Saturday mornings. Tell friends at Church now in case you can’t then. CORAC teams will be out looking for people to gather in and work with.
