It was late in the War of 1812, September 13, 1814, to be exact, just over three months before the war was formally ended. The British had unleashed a brutal attack of rockets and incendiary shells on Ft. McHenry in Baltimore Harbor. American patriots were fearful that Ft. McHenry – and perhaps Baltimore – might not be standing the next day. Young Francis Scott Key was there that night. He thought sure the American cause would be lost overnight, as the pounding was relentless.
His heart soared when morning came. Through the dust and the smoke, the Star-Spangled Banner still flew over Ft. McHenry, symbol of an American victory rather than a British one. He was so excited he penned a poem in celebration, a poem that has since become our national anthem. There was still plenty of war to come in the next three months, but the poem that tattered flag inspired in Keys inspired first Baltimore and then the nation on to victory. It confirmed that America would not revert to being a colony of England, but would remain an independent nation destined for greatness.
In this last decade, both America and the Church have been under sustained and heavy assault, oddly from the same leftist anti-God activists (though with different priorities and wearing different outfits).
In America, we have spent almost a decade with crooked officials trying to warp the law to ban dissent, punish opponents, and chase down anyone who valued traditional American values. They forced unvetted medical treatments on us on pain of losing our livelihood – with many of them arguing we should be sent to concentration camps and have all health care stripped from us. We were censored, threatened with arrest or forfeiture of our jobs if we did not go along with whatever the party line of the day was. All the freedoms – speech, religion, to bear arms, assembly were declared to be passe. What we must do, these demons said, was let men into our daughter’s locker rooms and sports, we must allow them to permanently mutilate our children, we must not tolerate, but celebrate, their unending sexual perversions and obsessions, merit-based achievement was obviously white supremacy and we MUST judge people by the color of their skin, not the content of their character.
People who mounted actual riots on behalf of the left, riots where many people were killed, more were injured, and buildings and businesses were burned to the ground were touted as “mostly peaceful protests” by the hideously corrupted media while a genuinely mostly peaceful protest – J6 – where about the worst offense was “parading,” was insanely treated as an insurrection in which white haired grandmas and decorated war heroes were held for years while corrupted prosecutors sought ways to sentence them to decades – simply for not supporting the left. I merely scratch the surface of what was the most intense and sustained effort to impose fascism on America in our entire history – and the power-hungry slugs who attempted it have the temerity to call those who resisted it fascists. Democrats were not always demoniacally evil – but they are now. That’s not normal.
For a time, we ceded control over our country to flat-earthers – passionate in their madness and determined to hold the levers of power, but utterly insane and ignorant. Many of them call themselves and each other “experts.” It would be darkly comic were it not so deadly.
In the Church, we saw the Vatican enthusiastically celebrating what Christ and the Apostles forbade, while ruthlessly trying to snuff out any traditional form of worship or orthodoxy. In both America and the Church, this was the culmination of the satan’s gambit to convince people that good was evil and evil was good. But you will know them by their fruits. Though many foolishly or timidly tried to eat the rotten fruit the left was peddling and proclaim it good, enough held out that we are now having a new “dawn’s early light” in both America and the Church. And the flag of values, virtues, and tradition still waves, bloodied but unbowed.
Francis Scott Key had a few months of war left after he was heartened by the sight of Old Glory waving as the sun rose. We have a few years left. But the diabolical invader is being repelled now just as surely as the British invader was then. ‘Tis a glorious thing to be there for the dawn’s early light!

A friend of mine called, shaken by the collapsing narrative of the Covid shots – and how deadly they truly are. (Read this bit at the Coffee and Covid Blog by Jeff Childers. The devastating news is in the bottom half of the article. Childers is giving the best coverage of the unfolding disaster the shots are.) At first I made light of his concerns. Then, remembering that he had to get the shot to keep his job, I got more serious. I told him truthfully that right after he told me he had gotten the shot several years ago, I had immediately gone to prayer for him. Truth is, I did that for a lot of the people I love.
Yes, a cascade of clinical evidence is coming in on the vastly increased heart problems, neurological problems, cancers, and vast increase in all-cause deaths linked to the shot…and that it progressively destroys the immune system entirely in a lot of people. But shortly after I told you, on Dec. 23, 2020, that the shot was destined to become the greatest medical disaster in history, I also told you that God did not intend this for your destruction. I was sending a subtle message in choosing to highlight the Moses and the Brazen Serpent episode from the Book of Numbers. As you will recall, some of the Israelites had gone into outright rebellion against Moses and, thus, against God. The Lord sent deadly vipers to strike them. God instructed Moses to mount a brazen serpent on a pole. All the afflicted who looked upon it and repented would be healed. Those who chose to remain in rebellion all perished.
We have gotten into a difficult situation where some people are so far gone in their own self-will and vanity that they will never return to any sort of obedience to God. It is striking that, in this instance, God chose to let people be bitten by their own hubris.
But in the (manufactured) confusion of the times, many good, faithful, people trusted institutions and doctors we were all once able to trust before those institutions became suffused with demonic hubris. The people who did this are not to be blamed. Then there are others who were coerced, forced to take the shot or lose their livelihood. They, too, are not to be blamed. One Priest who is very dear to me told me that his Archbishop had told him he must take the shot or be deprived of his ministry. He told me he believed I was right on the matter, but that the ministry he was living was important enough that he was choosing to be a martyr if needs must. It was a noble decision, I think. But he will not be a martyr, at least not for this.
Once I realized that many people would not repent even if God came visibly among them showing his mighty power, it struck me that it was likely there would ultimately have to be some major die-off of the bitter-enders if we were to have a genuine era of peace. I hated the sloppy, even nefarious perversion of both science and authority that propped up the deadly shots. But I also recognized what I thought was the very elegant device by which God would, in the fullness of time, separate the sheep from the goats. Just as in Moses’ time, all who turn their face to God and call on the name of the Lord will not perish. Those who remain defiant that they are the only gods in this universe will perish – stung by their own hubris and self-selected for destruction.
It is going to get scarier as we go forward. These shots are an absolute and comprehensive disaster. But please take me seriously on this assurance: this is NOT for your destruction if you turn your face to the Lord. I have endured a lot of ridicule to tell you true on many unlikely things these last 12 years and almost all of it has panned out, though occasionally not as you (or even I) expected. Trust me now. God is calling all to repentance and clearing the ground of all who would harass you in preparation for the Triumph of the Immaculate Heart and the ensuing era of peace. So yes, it is going to get darker, perhaps much darker – and very suddenly. Comfort yourself with the 23rd Psalm: “Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death I will fear no evil: For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.” The path to the Triumph leads through the valley of death. Do not let fear keep you from the Triumph. And keep the Brazen Serpent Prayer close to your heart.

I am in Texas, just about 150 miles east of where about 100 people lost their lives in the horrific flash floods in Kerr County. The Guadalupe River rose an astounding 26 feet in 15 minutes. It was more of a flash tidal wave than a flash flood. The ghouls on the left immediately started blaming it all on Trump’s cuts – cuts that don’t even kick in until months from now. Then they tried to blame an understaffed weather station and no alarms. But the facts are that the weather station had two and a half times as many authorities on hand as usual in anticipation of the danger. Alarms went out 12 hours before the floods came – and then got increasingly sharp and frequent three hours ahead of time. Then some of the leftist ghouls decided that, well, most of the children killed were from MAGA families and “white supremacist” Christian backgrounds (white supremacist BECAUSE they were believing Christians) – so they deserved what they got. My stars, there truly are orcs among us. Thank God they are in their death throes.
Working this project in Texas so near to where it all happened, I know some people and families who have been affected. I suppose I should be angrier at the vicious orcs than I am. But I pity them. They could be children of God. But they would not. And so they will perish, shrieking defiantly that they will not submit to the bitter end.

The documents declassified by the Trump administration have changed my mind about the CIA being involved in the Kennedy assassination. But how they did it was diabolically clever – and does not contradict a thing in the massive tome covering the forensics and logistics in Vincent Bugliose’s masterful Reclaiming History. (Warning – this is the single, longest book I have ever read – and I have read War and Peace four times just for grins).
The documents do nothing to contradict Oswald as the lone shooter – and largely reveal the fevered fantasies about the grassy knoll and other conspiracies to rest (not that conspiracists will ever rest). What is clear is that the CIA knew what a dangerous man Oswald was – and how desperately he wanted to do a political killing. But they just ignored him – as they ignored every other genuine threat directed at Kennedy that year, hoping that one would succeed. They would get their way without having their fingerprints on it by acting like a corrupt prison guard who turned away while a shanking was unfolding.
The one thing that always bothered me is that Kennedy was seriously considering abolishing the CIA. Former Pres. Harry Truman, who created the CIA, considered it his worst mistake and had been lobbying Kennedy for over a year to end the agency. So the CIA certainly had motive. But the forensics and logistics just did not pan out, no matter how hard some fanatics tried to make them fit. It was a stroke of malevolent genius to know about threats you are supposed to protect against and ignore them. I think it begins to unravel now. I also think that is what happened with the two Trump assassination attempts last year – but those involve the FBI and, perhaps, the Secret Service.
I’m just speculating here, but I suspect the Justice Department’s announcement that there is NO Epstein List is a feint. Something much bigger is going on here. I can’t help but wonder if this is the first move in nailing down the depredations of rogue federal law enforcement and intelligence agencies. As usual, lefties are taking a victory lap at the news. They are SO predictable. Trump knows that. I think he just set the snare that will bring almost all the bad actors down. No special knowledge here…just speculating on how I would do it. I have always loved to make myself look weak in order to draw opponents into my ambushes…and Trump uses a lot of the techniques that I have over the years, but rarely talk about. Most politicians can’t take the blazing criticism they get from their own side in the short term when running such a gambit. Trump can. We’ll see – but I am almost certain that things are NOT how they currently look.
