Charlie’s Brief #55 – Some thoughts about the value of experience, the tests we undergo when God shows us that we’re wrong, the wisdom of C.S. Lewis, the example of St. Paul responding to his test, and the need to let go of the idea that there’s a “magic bullet”… while we embrace the grace filled grind of doing the little right in front of us with faith and fidelity.

Thank you, Charlie! I’m trying to listen to what God wants for and from me, but I seem to be a bit hard of hearing lately, I think! I keep repeating “just the little bit in front of me and the next right step” over and over again!
And what is the name of the music at the end of this piece? It’s delightful.

That fiery medieval Celtic tune is called “Village Dance.” Click the “Audio” version to hear the full musical score starting at the 10 minute mark.
